The Team
Advancing the way pain is treated. Redefining what it means to age well.
Bahman Ben Shamloo, MD, FIPP
Triple board certified — including interventional spine and pain, anesthesiology, and a board certification from the World Institute of Pain; member of numerous spine and pain societies; instructor for surgical training courses for physicians.
For more than 20 years, Ben Shamloo, MD, FIPP has built his practice around a simple philosophy: patients deserve more than temporary solutions to complex medical problems. Dr. Shamloo begins with a thorough evaluation to identify the true source of each patient’s pain, then builds a personalized treatment plan using the most advanced, minimally invasive options available, combining spine and interventional pain management, regenerative medicine, and functional medicine to help patients move better, feel better, and live better.
At the heart of his practice is a commitment to advanced, effective pain care. Dr. Shamloo utilizes sophisticated technology and minimally invasive surgical techniques to address the underlying sources of spine and musculoskeletal issues while minimizing the need for traditional surgery whenever appropriate. His approach encompasses advanced treatments for conditions including back and neck pain, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, nerve pain, and peripheral neuropathy.
His work extends beyond treating pain. Through a new era of regenerative and stem cell-based therapies, Dr. Shamloo explores innovative approaches designed to support the body’s natural healing processes, combat the effects of aging, and restore optimal function.
This combination of advanced, minimally invasive surgeries and interventional approaches, regenerative therapies, and functional medicine reflects Dr. Shamloo’s belief that medicine should not simply respond to problems after they occur. It should also help patients protect their health and function for the years ahead.
Dr. Shamloo did his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and fellowships at University of Washington and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is fluent in English and Persian and provides care to patients throughout California and Nevada.
For Dr. Shamloo, the goal is not simply to reduce pain. It is to help patients reclaim the freedom to live their lives fully with less pain, greater mobility, and a healthier future.
